The Role

Our Sydney Construction team are currently seeking a Design Management Graduate to join our growing Sydney business and work across a large project in the region

In this role, you will assist our Design Managers working across design quality and buildability of a project including liaising with clients and preparing clients briefs, liaising with design consultants and in house estimators, cost planners and programmers as well as coordinating the preparation and documentation, including BIM, CAD and other software systems. 

Your key responsibilities will include assisting in the following:

  • Assist in consultant engagement and design process
  • Assist in preparation of preliminary project evaluations and feasibility studies
  • Assist in preparation of scope of work and design brief
  • Assist in development of preliminary design concepts
  • Assist in Client Relationship management
  • Assist in authority approvals including Development Approvals, Building Approvals and local government requirements

Role Criteria:

  • Bachelor Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management
  • Commercial acumen within the building industry
  • Good knowledge of Design & Construction Projects 
  • An understanding of a construction process from Start of tender to project completion
  • Self starter with excellent communication skills 
  • Knowledge and experience in CAD and BIM technology
